About Us

Hampstead Special Education Community Network (formerly Hampstead Special Education Parent Group) is a parent-led organization working in cooperation with the Hampstead School District and sponsored by the Hampstead PTSA.  This group is designed to serve the special education community by providing a positive and collaborative forum for the exchange of information, ideas and suggestions. 

Mission Statement:

To support the special education community (i.e. students, school staff and family) through communication, collaboration and education. 

Objectives:

  • To provide a support network for families of special education students.
  • To provide a forum to discuss topics of interest in special education and sponsor workshops and trainings for families, schools and the community in identified areas of interest.
  • To provide resources and funds for parent-sponsored activities.
